Chema Foam Company was founded by Brigadier General Engineer Atef Al-Sawy Awal in 1986 AD, and his tireless efforts in the field of research and development of building materials and thermal and water insulation resulted in a breakthrough in the standards of the contemporary building and construction world. Among the most notable achievements of the Chema Foam group of companies are:
Patent No. 02865 dated July 19, 1997 for the manufacture of light bricks made of polystyrene foam adhered to the surface of a layer of light polymer concrete “Chemablock”.
Registered industrial property No. 20335 for the “Astroblock” product.
Registered industrial property No. 19823 for the product “Chemablock”.
King Abdullah I Bin Al Hussein International Award 1422 AH - 2001 AD, which was obtained by Brigadier Engineer/Atef Al-Sawy in the field of technology and applied sciences for the Chemablock product (the Horde engineering alternative)
